Tour Overview

Shillong, also known as Scotland of the East, is a beautiful hill station in Northeast India. Situated only 100 kilometers away from Guwahati, the gateway to Northeast, it is one of the most easily accessible destinations in Northeast. With the beautifully paved curvy roads though the pine-filled lush green Khasi hills, it is ideal for hilly road trips on weekends. The unending sprinkling rains, along with the British era architectures, always give the vibe of Scotland.

Tour Itinerary

Day : 1 Guwahati – Shillong (ASSAM – MEGHALAYA)

Arrive Guwahati airport and drive to Shillong (140 kms / 4 hrs drive approx). Check-in Hotel and after refreshment if time permits we visit Cathedral of Marry and evening roam the Shillong’s famous Police Bazar on foot. Overnight in Shillong.

Day : 2 Shillong to Mawlynnong & Dawki Sightseeing, Mawlynnong to Cherrapunji

After breakfast, following to the land of thick rainforests and pretty mist the cleanest village of Asia, Mawlynnong, hails us. We will visit all the sightseeing spots in Mawlynnong including waterfall and root bridge. Then, we will move towards another attraction of the trip Dawki. We will go to Cherrapunji after spending the day at this beautiful place. Stay at Cherrapunji.

Day : 3 Cherrapunji Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will be visiting text book famous Cherrapunji, where the sign 'the rainiest place on planet Earth' greets you. We will cover all the spots in Cherrapunji including Elephant Falls, Valley View Point, Nohkalikai Waterfalls, Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sister Falls, Eco Park, Thangkharang Park etc. After the full day of excitements we will stay at our hotel in Cherrapunji.

Day : 4 Cherrapunji to Guwahati

After breakfast, we will start our return journey towards Guwahati and, we will drop you at Airport as per your departure schedule with the sweet memories of the trip with Paradise Northeast.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Please note - Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs - in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us - a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.

In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
